Ryan is a former Digital Project Manager, now working as a UX Architect at Blue Chip Marketing Worldwide. He is currently attended his last quarter at DePaul University, completing his Master’s of Science in Human-Computer Interaction. With an undergraduate bachelor's degree in Business Administration in Entrepreneurship, he always takes into account the bottom-line when determining UX strategies. When Ryan grows up, he wants to be Tony Stark.

Jaza Samuel

Bio

I am in pursuit of Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction at DePaul University, Chicago. I have a background Bachelors in Arts, Industrial Design from California College of the Arts, San Francisco. Previously, I have worked for several start-ups as an industrial designer and a UX consultant. Currently, I work as a UX Designer/Strategist at non-profits around the Chicago area. As a student in HCI, my goal is to learn the reasoning behind designing human interfaces. I feel by taking this course, I can gain further insights into designing, building, and analyzing the workings of one kind of digital interface; e-commerce websites.

Xiaowen Zhang

Bio

My name is Xiaowen Zhang. I am particularly interested in technological theory involved in e-commerce, which is of importance for electronic commerce expansion and website operation.

Additionally, I suppose one’s capabilities in communication and problems solving are of equal importance for eternal development. I participated in the business proposal of Wahaha Group with the second prize in marketing and benefited a lot from the experience. In this competition, I burdened the responsibilities of sales activity in campus and residential districts and scheduling marketing plans. In this process, I connected traditional marketing with online marketing. This deepened my expertise of e-commerce. Furthermore, I have set up two e-commerce stores: one is about procurement service and the other is an online clothing store. Under my operation, these two stores have saved the initial cost and began to make profit.
