Our Project

Our group will create a SaaS (Software as a Service) web and mobile solution for animal shelters and rescues that matches adoptable pets with interested adopters based on their personality preferences. Use of the site and mobile app will be free for both shelters and their customers in order to attract consumer interest and to support shelters’ efforts to engage and screen adoption candidates.

Users will be able to create accounts, manage personality preferences, search database of available pets, “like” and hide pets from list of recommended matches, inquire for more information about individual pets and submit adoption applications online.

Mykle Brossette

• BA in Communications and minor in Fine Art Studio (photography)
• BS in Computer Information Systems
• Pursuing Master of Science in Human Computer Interaction
• Previous 1.5 years work experience in digital imaging and graphic design
• Previous 5 years work experience as a technical consultant/software developer for a healthcare & research company that is based on a .NET framework using a CMS.

Brian Green

• BA in English and Film
• MS in Information Systems with Managing E-Business concentration
• Currently working for IT training company creating video-based training for IT pros
• 3+ years experience in website development using PHP and ASP.NET, MySQL, SQL Server and Access

Satyam Kaneria

• MS Information Systems with Business Web Analysis and Development
• BS in Electrical Engineering
• 1+ years of experience in iPhone and Android application development
• 1+ years of experience with website development using PHP, ASP, Javascript, Access, MySQL, and SQL
• Knowledge of ASP.NET 4.0

Jessica LoPresti

• BA in Psychology/Studio Art
• Masters in Social Work-mental health concentration
• Current HCI Masters candidate
• 20+ years experience with painting and drafting
• 10+ years experience in business and project management
• 3+ years experience in graphic design and currently developing XHTML and other web- related skills
