Page Layout / Interface Design
Page Descriptions
- Homepage: Provides any featured works of art, latest arrivals, announcements, and a list of categories to navigate through the gallery
- Gallery: Provides a thumbnail view of the items for sale, with prices and the ability to add the item to the shopping cart
- Item Detail: Provides the ability to enlarge the artwork and view further details, including artist, descriptions, price, the ability to add to the shopping cart
- Special Deals: Displays the latest deals, with a thumbnail view of the art, the price, and links to the item detail pages
- Registration: Allows the user to create an account on the site so that they may purchase art
- Sign In: Provides means for the user to enter a username and password or indicate that they forgot their password
- Shopping Cart: Shows the items and quantity that are currently set aside for purchase. The user can update quantities and remove items
- Search:Allows the user to perform a keyword search of all the art in the gallery by title and description
- About Us:Informs the user about the art gallery
- Contact Us:Provides a form allowing the user to send information to the owner
